Sep 18 (Fri) - 29 (Tue), 2020

Online

Organized by the Seoul Queer Culture Festival Organizing Committee

1. Introduction

The Seoul Queer Culture Festival (SQCF) is a public multi-event cultural festival organized with the vision of creating a space where everyone with different identities, including sexual orientation and gender identity, can mingle and enjoy together equally. It takes place every summer in Seoul.

Since the very first “Queer Culture Festival-Rainbow 2000” of 2000, the festival has continued on under the names “Queer Culture Festival-Rainbow OOOO (year),” “Queer Culture Festival” and is now called the “Seoul Queer Culture Festival” following a name change in 2018.

Our main events are the Seoul Queer Parade (SQP) and the Korea Queer Film Festival (KQFF); various other events also take place during the festival.

The festival is hosted and organized by the Seoul Queer Culture Festival Organinizing Committee, formed by citizen volunteers.

※ In 2020, the festival will be held online to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
